Hokkaido Snow Memories - Sapporo Snow Festival Tour - 5 nights

Day 1

  • New Chitose Airport - Furano

    You can enjoy some winter festivals in Hokkaido. We will meet you from your arrival flight at New Chitose Airport (Sapporo pick up is also possible), and first go to Furano. You must visit Ningle Terrace, where a beautiful collection of boutique cottages, housing specialty arts and crafts along with their creators. Kan Kan Mura open from 16:00 which located next to Ningle terrace. It's a snow dome and a snow cafe, and the longest Snow Tubing course in Japan. The pathways have snow sculptures and illuminations for an enjoyable walk. Snow rafting is also available!

Day 2

  • Furano - Sounkyo

    After breakfast, you can experience snow activities, such as Snow rafting, Sledding. If you'd like to try skiing, you can join in a ski lesson. We will leave after snow activities to start heading to Sounkyo. Sounkyo Ice Waterfall Festival which provides ice sculptures, North Ice Pub and Hyoto Shrine. It's 10 to 20 degrees below zero, and it is very cold. The ice sculptures are illuminated by colorful lights, and those look very beautiful in the evening. Fireworks are set off every day during the period.

Day 3

  • Sounkyo - Asahikawa - Otaru

    After breakfast, you’ll head to Asahikawa, in which you must see Asahiyama Zoo, where lots of kinds of animals welcome you. “Penguin Walk” is an icon of winter, you can see the lively penguins closely! You will then visit Asahikawa Winter Festival. Every year one massive sculpture is made as a stage for music and other performances. You will leave Asahikawa, then head towards to Otaru. Otaru Snow Light Path Festival get lit up from 17:00. The combination of the snowy town and the glittering lanterns creates a very pleasant atmosphere.

Day 4

  • Otaru - Sapporo

    After breakfast, you’ll visit Sakaimachi Street. There are a range of shops, from the glass art shop Kitaichi Glass to sweet shops such as LeTao. Otaru Music Box Museum, a music box store with one of the largest collections in the world and many vintage items. You will leave Otaru, then head towards to Sapporo. Shiroi Koibito Factory where this well-known Hokkaido confectionery is produced, the park also has a cafe to allow visitors to savor Ishiya’s original sweets, and the Cookie craft Studio. Every winter, Shiroi Koibito Park is decorated with beautiful winter lights.

Day 5

    Sapporo Snow Festival, one of Japan's largest winter events. You can see a large number of splendid snow and ice sculptures lining Odori Park and along the main street in Susukino. The subject of the statues varies and often features an event, famous building or person from the previous year. After visiting several festivals, you may need shopping time before leave Japan. In JR Tower lies by Sapporo Station has lots of fashion stores or souvenir stores as well as home appliance stores. If you go along Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade, you will see lots of others like cosmetics or daily necessities in Don Quijote. Of course you can enjoy local cuisine in Hokkaido, such as seafood, crab, Soup Curry, Ramen and so on, what we are truly proud of, not any other prefecture has good local delicacies like Hokkaido does.

Day 6

  • Sapporo - New Chitose Airport
  • Sapporo - New Chitose Airport


    After packing all the souvenirs, we will take you to New Chitose Airport for you to fly back to your home country. During your flight, please think about what attracted you in Hokkaido, what is the best place for you here viewing the pictures you took, and hope you can come back to Hokkaido to share wonderful time with your good friends or family.
